Food is the center of my universe - it's how I create exquisite moments to share with friends and family each and every day. Whether you are looking to be healthy or in need of comfort I have it covered. I strongly believe in balancing healthy and comfort food and always adding luxury when ever I can to satisfy all my needs.
Lean Luxury is a way of eating for a healthy life - if we engage all our senses we can find comfort and happiness through what we see, hear, touch and not just what we taste - although that's important too. I hope you are hungry!
I've divided recipes into Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - don't feel you have to stick to these recipes for these meals - who doesn't want to occasionally have bacon and eggs for supper? Or even soup for breakfast on a cold winter's morning.
A lot of my recipes were given to me by chefs or inspired by something I've eaten in a restaurant. It's a chef's job to make mouthwatering plates everyday, usually with years of practice and so it makes sense to harness this flavor to help us eat better and live better. I develop the recipes so that they are easy and accessible for the home cook but it's not about speed - I believe it's important to take the time to create a meal - whether it's for one or for 16. The cooking process is a time to enjoy and shouldn't be rushed. That said, it really doesn't take more than five minutes to poach an egg for breakfast or make a salad for lunch - so often the recipes don't take very long. Far less time than it takes for a pizza delivery!
